Description

A developing subject matter expert role responsible for researching, designing, developing, and building automated systems and applications to perform tasks that reduce human intervention and maximize efficiency. The engineer will collaborate with stakeholders, develop automation scripts, integrate solutions, troubleshoot issues, and stay updated with emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify automation opportunities
• Develop, configure, and maintain automation scripts and tools
• Support the integration of automation solutions into existing systems and workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues promptly
• Participate in testing, validation, and documentation of automation processes
• Assist in monitoring automation performance and optimizing for efficiency
• Stay updated with emerging automation technologies and best practices

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or relevant certification in IT, Automation, or a related field
• A degree is advantageous but not required
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in automation engineering or a similar role
• Technical Skills (Essential):
• Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting
• Strong knowledge of Python or other scripting languages (Bash, Java)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps)
• Experience using Ansible, N8N, and Metabase
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and automation frameworks
• Advantageous Exposure: Robotics, AI, or machine learning concepts
• Performance testing and automation pipelines
• Project management experience
